Handmade Skincare With A Story To Tell

Birchtree began in 2022 with our family, two goats and a desire to find simpler skincare for our daughters.

Today, we make our soaps and skincare here on our smallholding in Cambridgeshire, using milk from our goats, botanicals from our garden and ingredients we’ve carefully chosen for our recipes.

Everything is made by our family, in small batches and with plenty of care along the way.

Why Goats Milk?

Goats Milk has been part of our recipes from the beginning. We use milk from our own Goats because we love knowing exactly where this important ingredient comes from - and because it connects every bar back to life here on our farm.

We've always had a love for herbs, flowers and botanicals, so growing them has become an important part of life at Birchtree Farm.

Our garden is filled with plants we love to grow and use, from Lavender & Calendula to Nettle & Chamomile.

Whenever we can, we use what we've grown ourselves, bringing a little piece of our garden into the products we make.

The Girls Behind Birchtree

Our Two Goats, Marigold & Lavender are very much part of the Birchtree Family.

They Live here with us on our smallholding in Cambridgeshire and provide the fresh Goats Milk that forms the heart of our Soaps.

They're also the reason we ended up making soap in the first place, when our gurls began producing more milk than our family could use we started looking for ways to make the most of it.

    Once Poured and cut, our soaps are given time to mature before they're wrapped and sent to their new homes.

It Started With Our Daughters

Birchtree began in 2022 when we were looking for simpler skincare for our girls, whose dry skin seemed to become worse with some of the mainstreamproducts we tried.

What started as something we made for our own family slowly grew into something we wanted to share with others.

Today were still a small family business making our products here on our Cambridgeshire smallholding just as we did when we started.
